Otofacto is looking for an Technical Consultant (m/f/d) Sensory Systems ready to tackle a new challenge in consultancy!
Since 2011, Otofacto Engineering develops its industrial activities in the manufacturing sectors. What will you exactly do?
As a Technical Consultant (m/f/d) Sensory Systems you will be in close cooperation with industrial engineering and production, support or, if necessary, instruction of production staff in sample production – both coordinatively and „hands on“. Also you will be responsible in the investigation and evaluation of competitive products (benchmark investigations), machine connections, controls as well as interfaces and data flows. The specification of assemblies of electro-optical sensors as well as the planning and implementation of integration, commissioning and test are also part of your tasks. In addition, you will further develop measuring equipment and procedures for testing and calibrating electro-optical sensors and their components. Finally, you will identify, test and evaluate sensor technologies.
Together with experienced consultants you will develop and discuss solutions. You will work on new topics on your own responsibility and share the results with the team. In a nutshell, you have a concrete added-value in the team, sharing and getting knowledge.

Key skills to apply
You hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Physics. You speak German and English fluently and working in an international environment doesn’t scare you. You have previous experience in the production of electronic components and in the application of automation technologies in automotive and mechanical engineering. Furthermore you have good skills and experience in the field of optics, semiconductor physics, electronics and sensor technology. In addition, you have knowledge in the creation and implementation of mathematical-physical models for design and performance evaluation, in the creation of measuring equipment as well as in the software-based execution and evaluation of tests.
Germany-wide willingness to travel is a requirement.
